Whoever did the marketing for Hugo really fucked...
I mean I understand the motivation behind representing a work as something it possibly is not, but this film functions much better as a biopic/homage to Méliès than as a whimsical kid movie. It was still fucking awesome, though.

Both Die Hard and Die Hard 2 are based on novels? That the novel that got adapted for Die Hard was initially adapted as a screenplay for a sequel to Commando starring Arnold Schwarzenegger? Arnold turned it down so the screenplay got reworked into Die Hard. As amazing as it would be to see a Commando sequel, thank god Arnold turned it down.
Reminder that Die Hard is the only Christmas movie...
